TISH-THOMPSON

Miss Nellie Tish of this city and Wayne Thompson of Newton, were united in marriage at the Christian parsonage in Ames at 12:30 Sunday, September 21. The Rev. Herbert Browning, pastor of the church performed the single ring ceremony. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Abbott of Ames. Mrs. Thompson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Preston Tish of this city, and Mr. Thompson a son of Mrs. Luella Thompson of Ames.

The bride graduated from the local high school in 1927, and since that time has been employed as telephone operator in the office here. She will continue with her work. Mr. Thompson graduated from the Newton high school with the class of 1927 and is now assisting H.E. Derosin in a store at Newton.

Following the ceremony the party went to Mr. Thompson's home, where dinner was served. The community extends congratulations.
