WEDDINGS

CARMEN WYSS, ARTHUR SCHOOLEY WED SATURDAY

In the home of Rev. T.W. Stark, pastor of the Assembly of God church, in Newton at 8:00 o'clock Saturday evening, September 15, Miss Carmen Wyss, daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Wyss, became the bride of Arthur Schooley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schooley. The Rev. Stark performed the double ring ceremony in the presence of the immediate families.

Miss Wyss wore a black pin striped tailored suit with white accessories and a corsage of red and white gladioli. Mr. Schooley wore a black pencil striped suit with a white boutonniere.

Those present at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schooley of Grinnell, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Wyss, Ross and Darrell of Newton, and Miss Lucille Vandeknoll of Newton.

Following the wedding a reception was held in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Wyss, in Newton.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Schooley were graduated from Grinnell high school in the class of 1945.

After a short wedding trip to Des Moines Mr. and Mrs. Schooley will be at home on a farm northwest of Newton.
