BARCLAY-GILBERT

An interesting and attractive wedding took place at seven o'clock last evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H.V. Griffith when Rev. Joseph Sopher pronounced the words that united in matrimony, Mr. Fred Gilbert of this city and Carrie S. Barclay of University Park, near Oskaloosa. The wedding was scheduled to take place in the home of the groom nearby, but as there had been delay in completing the furnishings the groom's sister, Mrs. Griffith, kindly threw open her home to the event.

Only immediate relatives were present but they made the occasion a happy one. A delightful supper was served after the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert are already in the home provided by the groom.
