GILBERT-NORRIS

Wednesday evening at seven o'clock in the parsonage of the Friends church occurred the marriage of Miss Ruth Gilbert and Mr. Fred W. Norris, both of this city. The ceremony was performed by Reverend Joseph Sopher, Pastor of the Friends church.

The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of white georgette and satin and carried a bouquet of sweet peas.

The groom wore the conventional black.

Promptly after the ceremony, the bridal couple motored to the home of the bride's parents where relatives and friends awaited them. Delightful refreshments were served by the bride's mother.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jud Gilbert, and she has been employed at the Herald office for some time and is a very popular young lady of this community.

The groom is a son of J.M. Norris and is a highly respected young man.

The couple received many beautiful and costly presents. Their many friends join with us in wishing them all the best things in life.

They will be at home at 1325 Prince St., after August first.
