AYLETT, JOHN—Malcom Twp—pg 856. Farmer and stock-raiser, section 14, P.O. Malcom. Was born in Essex, England, in 1848, and there followed the pursuits of agriculture until he was about eighteen years of age, when he learned the trade of engineer, which occupation he followed until 1875, when he came to American, and settled in Poweshiek county, where he now farms about 200 acres of land. His farm is well stocked. He was married, in 1871, to Miss Harriet Sines, of Essex, England. Himself and wife have been closely identified with the M.E. Church.
