SCHEELER, C.J.—Grinnell Twp—pg 923. Blacksmith and livery and feed stable, Grinnell. Was born in Indiana on the 12th of February, 1854, where he was partly educated. When eleven years of age he came with his parents to this county, locating in this city and completed his schooling. Then learned the blacksmith trade, which he continued until 1878, when he gave it up on account of ill health. Has a good stable in connection with the blacksmith shop. He enjoys a good patronage.
