WOOD, A.J.—Bear Creek Twp—pg 855. Hardware merchant, Brooklyn. Was born in Montgomery county, New York, July 10, 1835. In 1855 came to Illinois, in 1858 came to Iowa, locating in Johnson county; in 1862 came to Brooklyn, where he has since resided. His popularity may be inferred from the fact that he is now serving his second term in the State Legislature from this district.
