SMITH, SAMUEL B.--Farmer, P.O. Forest Home. Mr. Smith has a farm of 100 acres, in section 21, where he resides. He was born in Greene county Ohio, May 10, 1842. In 1848 he came with his parents to Iowa, and settled in Jackson township, this county. He was married to Miss Sarelda Farmer, January 15, 1865. She is the daughter of Mr. John Farmer, one of the early and prominent citizens of the township. Mr. Smith is an industrious and successful farmer.
