Henry Chandler died at his house in Riverton, Sunday afternoon of paralysis, aged about 68, and some years. He had been in poor health for some time, but this final stroke came Thursday.

He leaves a wife, a son and some grandchildren and many friends to mourn his loss.

The funeral sermon was preached in the Methodist Church by the pastor, Rev. Bonar, after which the Masons of Farragut, where he was a member of the Blue Lodge, had charge of the burial, He was a member of the chapter at this place and the Masons assisted in the funeral services,

Uncle Henry was a good man, highly respected by everyone and will be greatly missed by the entire community.

He was an old soldier and served four years in defense of the flag.

The populace extend their heartfelt sympathy to the bereft.
