Sat, May 22, 1897Linden, Ia., May 21, Mrs. Hut Huggins, living about two miles south of town, met her death by drowning in the Coon River. She had been unbalanced mentally for some time, having returned from the asylum at Clarinda about a year ago.
This morning, as was her custom, she went down to the river to fish, and it is supposed that while near the bank she was seized with a fit, to which she was subject, and fell into the river.
