The funeral of the late Mrs. Alexander Wood was held yesterday afternoon from the family residence, 236 Frank Street. The deceased was one of the pioneer residents of this city and the funeral was largely attended by the old settlers.

The services were conducted by the Rev. W. S. Barnes of the First Presbyterian Church, who paid a touching tribute to the many noble qualities of the deceased.
