Mrs. Annie C. Bell, 75, McClelland, died Thursday at San Diego, Calif., where she was visiting her son, Oscar, according to word received here Saturday. She had been ill several days. She was the daughter of the late Elias J. and Elizabeth Quick, and the widow of J. W. Bell, pioneer farmer and conservation man of McClelland. Born at Quick, she was a member of the Grace Presbyterian church.
Survivors include four sons, Arthur and Delmar of McClelland, Roy of Roseburg, Oregon, and Oscar; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Quick Maxfield and Mrs. Cora Quick Coker, both of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Till Heywood of High River, Canada, and Mrs. Mabel Smith Pittsburgh, Pa.; two brothers, George Quick of Quick, and William T. Quick of Council Bluffs; and five grandchildren. The body will lie in state at Cutler chapel where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Robert Howard, pastor of Bethany Presbyterian church will officiate. Burial will be in the Hardin Township Cemetery.
