May 27, 1953Mrs. Manda Tomich, 73, of North Chicago, Ill., a former Council Bluffs resident, died Tuesday at North Chicago.
Born in Yugoslavia, she lived in Council Bluffs about 30 years before moving to North Chicago 15 years ago.
She was a member of Holy Family Church here.
Survivors are: four sons; John of Council Bluffs, George, Nick and Frank, all of North Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Ann Pavelich of North Chicago and Mrs. Mary Beshack of Waukegan, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Eva Sulentic of Council Bluffs; and 11 grandchildren.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated in North Chicago Thursday. Interment will also be there.
FUNERALS
Funeral services will be held Thursday in Waukegan, Ill., for Mrs. Amanda Tomich, 68. She died late Monday at her home there.
She is the mother of John Tomich and sister of Mrs. Steve Sulentic, both of Council Bluffs.
Mrs. Sulentic and Mr. and Mrs. John Tomich left here Wednesday to attend the funeral.

Marija Sulentic, daughter of Ivan and Marija Sulentic married Joso Tomicic, son of Jerko and Ana Tomicic, November 24, 1898 at Sveti Rok, Croatia.
Her name also appears as Manda and Amanda and Tomicic, Tomic, Tomich and her husband's name also appears as Joseph John "Peter" Tomicic Tomich.
