June 1, 1931 – June 15, 2015)Clarence James "Jim" Zika, age 84, of Council Bluffs passed away June 15, 2015. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa on June 1, 1931 to the late Clarence A. and Alice (Hallowell) Zika. After high school he proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Jim was a pastor and an exceptionally faithful man. He spent many years as a church organist and went on a number of missionary trips. He was a retired ASARCO (American Smelting & Refining Co.) brick mason. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Zika (1938-1986); sister, Darlene Grant; brothers, Richard, Malvin, LeRoy and Robert Zika. Jim is survived by his wife, Wanita Printy-Zika; sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Tammy Zika, Dan and Deborah Zika; sisters, Charlotte Pieart, Marilyn Little (Donald), Eva Songer, Norma Parkins (Duane); brother, Gene Zika (Janet); granddaughters, Sara, Stacie, Stefani, Gabby, Nicole Zika; step grandchildren, Emily and Sarah; step-great grandchildren, Brandon, Kayla, Chloe, Cameron; a host of other family and friends. Visitation and funeral service was at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Honors followed by a luncheon in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski.
