ETHEL REYNOLDS DIES,
WAS ACTIVE IN CHURCH

Mrs. Ethel N. Reynolds, 62, 321 Elder Street, a lifelong resident of Council Bluffs, and active in church work, died Tuesday evening at a local hospital after an illness of one month.

Mrs. Reynolds was vice-president of the Women’s Society of Christian Service, a member of the Circle 5, and superintendent of the primary departments of Broadway Methodist Church. She was also affiliated with Oakleaf Camp of the Royal Neighbors and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors are: daughter, Mrs. Lucille Madden, who is clerk of the Municipal Court ; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Gibbons of Glendale, Calif., Mrs. Mary Jorgensen of Sidney, Nebr., and Mrs. Hazel Scott of Los Angeles; three brothers, Fred Cole of Council Bluffs, Arthur Draper of Dalton, Nebr., and Paul Draper of Nampa, Ida; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Broadway Methodist Church, the Rev. Gerald E. Bisbee officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The body will remain at Woodring Funeral Home Chapel until Friday at noon.
