Dorothy "Jean" Redinbaugh, age 86, Neola, Iowa, passed away August 21, 2014, at Bethany Lutheran Home.

Jean was born October 9, 1927, in Council Bluffs, to Carl and Christina Clausen and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1945. She was united in marriage to Ivan "Ike" Redinbaugh in 1948.

Jean was a homemaker, secretary at a real estate agency and served as a host and information director for the Iowa Tourism Visitors Center for many years. Jean was an active member of the Neola American Legion Aux; and a blood donor for the Red Cross.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan; and sister, Helen Kreft.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Kristin Schnitker (John), of Neola, Charlotte Peterson (Chuck), Charles "Buck" Redinbaugh (Elizabeth), all of Omaha, Roger Redinbaugh (Leta), of Neola; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister-in-law, Alice Broten, of Houston, Texas; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Monday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services Tuesday, 11 a.m., all at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel, followed by a luncheon reception in the Cutler-O'Neill Community Room.

Interment will follow at the Neola Township Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Southwest Iowa or Veterans Memorial Mural in Neola.
