Gladys M. Boylan, 86, of 2211 39th St. died of a heart ailment Thursday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, with burial at Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Boylan was born in Shelby and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Acanthus Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Kuebrich of Des Moines; a sister, Esther Dea of Avoca; a brother, Ralph Paul of Shelby; and three grandchildren.
