Woodrow Clarke Dies Suddenly
Woodrow W. Clarke, 65, husband of Helen Carter Clarke, died today at 9:30 a.m. at a Council Bluffs hospital where he had been a patient since Sunday evening when he suffered a stroke.

Services are pending in Council Bluffs.

He had been a biology teacher at Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs for many years.

Besides his wife, Helen, formerly of Fairfield; he is survived by three sons, James of Omaha, Neb., Robert of Coleman, Mich., and Stephen of Wymore, Neb., and five grandchildren.

The family home is at 311 Prospect, Council Bluffs, Iowa, 51501.
