Obituary: Judy L. Blodgett

Judy L. Blodgett, age 75, of Tekamah, Neb., passed away December 13, 2012, at her daughter's home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Judy was born September 25, 1937, near Neola, Iowa, to the late Richard J. and Mary C. (Ostdiek) Thompson. In March of 1956, Judy wed David W. Blodgett. They were blessed with four children. Judy was a homemaker, gardener and loved jigsaw puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Blodgett in 2011; and her sister, Joyce Thompson.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Joe) Boyle; sons, Jeff (Deborah) Blodgett, all of Missouri Valley, David W. Blodgett, Jr., Tim Blodgett, both of Crescent, Iowa; 4 grandchildren; and brother, Richard J. (Elizabeth) Thompson, Jr., of Houston, Texas.

Funeral service Tuesday, 11 a.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Visitation with the family one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Interment Crescent, Iowa Cemetery.
