Mathaus "Matt" J. Grell (Sep 12, 1954 - July 15, 2011), 56 of Soldier, died Friday, July 15, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison with a private inurnment at a later date. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. before the service at the Huebner Funeral Home.

A gathering of friends for a celebration of Matt’s life will be at the AK Corral at a later date.

Survivors include three brothers, Arnold J., of Moville, Willie, of Hornick, and Eddie, of Soldier; and sisters, Cora Ann, of Del Rio, Texas, Sarah, of Hornick, Velma and Tina, of Onawa, and Katie, of Denison.
