Myron E. Cashatt, age 74, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away at Mercy Hospital March 9, 2011.

Myron was born March 6, 1937, in Ewing, Neb., to Fern and Verna (Borden) Cashatt. He graduated from Butte High School in 1957. He was a Carpenter for Union #440 and an active member of A.A. for 37 years. He was united in marriage to wife Neola on August 15, 1975.

Myron was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Travis; brother, Harlan; and infant brother, Keith.

He is survived by wife, Neola; daughter, Karolyn Galindo, of Fremont, Neb.; sons, David Cashatt, of Nebraska City, Neb., Richard Cashatt, of North Bend, Neb.; step-sons, Mark Dillin and wife, Lynda, of Nashville, Tenn., Jon Dillin, of Brick, N.J.; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Wayne (LaVern) Cashatt and wife, Lu, of Eldora, Iowa; sisters, Beulah Stiger, of Ord, Neb., Shirley Ecker, of Central City, Neb.; sister-in-law, Dorothy Cashatt, of Lincoln, Neb.

A Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2011, at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel with visitation beginning at 2 p.m.
