MISSOURI VALLEY - Marjorie Ann Hovey, 77, of Missouri Valley, died June 6 at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley.
She was born Nov. 4, 1925, in Underwood to Albert A. and Eva (Jensen) Jensen and graduated from Underwood High School. She was a former Council Bluffs resident and worked as an office manager for Suburban Propane. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Country Church and spent winters in Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hovey Jr., in 2000.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Nelson of Council Bluffs; a son, Allan and wife, Maggie, of Bellevue, Neb.; two sisters, Shirley Scheffler and Sarah Catron, both of Council Bluffs; nine grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with elder Tom Arnold officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery with a lunch following at St. Paul's Evangelical Country Church.
Memorials may be offered to the Alzheimer's Association.
