Jerry D. Driver, age 74, Honey Creek, Iowa, passed away at home Tuesday, December 21, 2010.

Jerry was born March 24, 1936, in rural Neola to Lester and Pearl (Handbury) Driver and graduated from Beebee Town High. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Jerry drove the school bus his senior year of high school and later for Tri-Center Schools for 8 years. He farmed and for 33 years worked at Sperry Vickers in Omaha, before retiring. Jerry and wife Emma (Wehrli) have been married for 52 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Pearl; and sister, Lois Piper.

Survivors include wife, Emma; daughter, Deb Cain, all of Honey creek; sons, Lynn and wife, Cheri, of Neola, Randy and wife, Lisa, of Honolulu, Hawaii; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visitation with family Sunday, December 26, 2010, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Funeral services Monday, 11 a.m., all at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Rev. Charles Bichel, officiant.

Interment Grange Cemetery with military rites by Neola American Legion Post #330.

Luncheon to follow at St. Paul's Church, 22163 Sumac. Memorials are suggested to Grange Cemetery and St. Paul's Church.
