Jack T. Stageman, Sr., age 82, of Millsap, Texas, passed away August 21, 2010, in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Jack was born September 3, 1927, in Council Bluffs, to the late Mark and Susan (O'Hara) Stageman. He graduated from Underwood, Iowa High School in 1945 and married Norma Hadfield on August 19, 1950, in Neola, Iowa. They were blessed with 6 children, Patty, Helen Sue, Diane, Sarah, Jack, Jr. and Dan. Jack was a farmer; a salesman for Blue Cross-Blue Shield; clerk for the Iowa State Liquor Store and worked for Suburban Propane. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Neola, Iowa.

Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Helen Sue Stageman; grandson, Stephen Johansen; 5 sisters; 2 brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Norma Stageman, of Millsap, Texas; daughters, Patty Stageman, of Weatherford, Texas, Diane Johansen, of Persia, Iowa, Sarah (Sam) Venhaus, of Lincoln, Neb.; sons, Jack (Teresa) Stageman, Jr., of Glidden, Iowa, Dan (Denise) Stageman, of Monument, Colo.; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family, Friday, 6 to 8 p.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Neola. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, 10 a.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Rev. Raphael Masabakhwa, pastor as the celebrant.

Interment St. Columbanus Cemetery, Weston, Iowa, with a lunch following at St. Patrick's Parish Hall.

Memorials to the Ruth Webb Scholarship Fund preferred.
