Donald H. Jorgensen

CAMPBELL, Calif. - Donald H. Jorgensen, 70, of Campbell, Calif., died March 8 in Campbell.

He was born Dec. 17, 1932, in Council Bluffs to Herman and Dorothy (Smith) Jorgensen. After graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School, he served four years in the U.S. Navy. He and his wife moved to California in 1956. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Los Gatos, Calif., in 1995 and was enjoying the traveling benefits of his part-time job with Enterprise Rent A Car.

Mr. Jorgensen and his wife, Marjorie (O'Brien), were married in 1956.

Survivors in addition to his wife include his daughter, Tracy Fortunato, of Campbell; sister, Patricia Jerkovich-Marshall, and husband, Jim, of Council Bluffs; 13 nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on March 29 in Campbell where the family made their home for over 30 years.

The family prefers donations in Donald's name to VA Hospice Care Center of Palo Alto, Calif.
