Mary E. McKinley

DENVER, Colo. - Mary Elizabeth McKinley, former resident of Council Bluffs, died March 10 in Thornton, Colo.

She was born June 27, 1908, in Council Bluffs to Miles Scofield and Anna Hannan. She lived in Council Bluffs until retirement. Then she moved to Sun City, Ariz., and then Denver on Oct. 1, 1993.

Mrs. McKinley was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. McKinley, on Oct. 1, 1985. They were married June 15, 1931.

Survivors include her children, Sharon Schwartz and her husband, Daniel, Barry McKinley and his wife, Magda, Mark McKinley, Mary Elizabeth Eberly and Andrew McKinley; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday and Sunday 2 to 8 p.m. at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 3020 Federal Blvd., in Denver. Recitation of the Rosary will be Sunday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The Requiem High Mass is Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Isidore's The Farmer Catholic Church in Watkins, Colo. (East I-70 & Watkins Exit No. 295), and will conclude with burial in the church cemetery.
