Mable M. Deal

FORSYTH, Mo. - The funeral for Mable M. Deal, 75, of Forsyth was March 7 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Forsyth with the Rev. James Locke officiating.

Mrs. Deal died March 4 at home.

She was a retired owner and operator of a resort. She was born July 12, 1927, in Council Bluffs to Claude C. and Ethel May (Bates) Colton. She had moved to Taney County 10 years ago with her husband, Bob, where they were owners and operators of Taneycomo Motel & Hickory Haven Resort at Rockaway Beach. She attended First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Deal was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D.

Survivors include three daughters, Judie K. O'Donnell of Council Bluffs, Vickie M. Fox of Olivehurst, Calif., and Pame P. Roberts of Lincoln, Calif.; one brother, Harold Colton, of Lewiston, Idaho; one sister, Donna Jean Morgan, of Forsyth; three brothers-in-law, James Deal and Terry Deal, both of Gramby, Mo., and Don Deal of Forsyth; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Graveside services were Sunday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Missouri Valley.

Memorials may be offered to First Baptist Church building fund or to Community Hospice of America or American Cancer Society.
