Sophie Anthony

GREELEY, COLO. - Sophie Alta Anthony, 91, of Greeley, Colo., formerly of Council Bluffs, died March 7.

She was born in Council Bluffs March 27, 1911. She was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She has lived in Greeley since 1980.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E., and a daughter, Doris Jeffres.

She is survived by two grandsons, Scott and Steve Jeffres.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Ridgewood Cemetery with the Rev. E.A. Hering officiating.

Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
