In Memory: Nancy J. Pietrzak

Funeral for Nancy J. Pietrzak, 48, of Council Bluffs was held Thursday at 10 a.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home with the Rev. David Erickson of the First Christian Church officiating.

Mrs. Pietrzak died September 3 at NHS University Hospital in Omaha.

She was born in Council Bluffs and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. She was head clerk at Jennie Edmundson Hospital for 10 years before retiring because of illness.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley; a daughter, Michele Baker, and husband, Jonathan, of McClelland; a son, Robert, and wife, Nancy, of Council Bluffs; her father, Donald C. McClelland, of Council Bluffs; five sisters, Karole West, Tracy Morgan, Tina Fletcher and husband, Ron, and Connie Hodgis and husband, Kent, all of Council Bluffs, and Mary Campbell and husband, Bruce, of Neo1a; and two brothers, Ron McClelland and wife, Karla and Nelson McCormick, all of Council Bluffs.

Visitation with the family was held Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
