Ervin E. Morrison

Funeral for Ervin E. Morrison, 69, of Honey Creek was held at 2 P.M Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in rural Neola the Rev. Jim Munson officiating.

Mr. Morrison died December 16 at an Omaha hospital.

He was born in Little Sioux and is a lifelong resident of Honey Creek. Mr. Morrison was an assembly worker for Vickers in Omaha for 42 years before retiring in 92. He was a member of St.Paul's Lutheran Church, Farm Bureau and Local 171, United Allied Industrial Workers' Union.

Mr. Morrison and his wife, Lavonne (Vorthmann), were married for 49 years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Barbara and husband, Mike Wendt of Anita, and Beverly and husband Ed Wendt of Dunlap; a son, Bernard, and wife, Phyllis, of Beebeetown; a brother, Ed and wife, Norma, of Crescent; nine grandchildren, one step-grandson, three great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was held at Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home with a prayer service. Burial was in Branson Cemetery in Loveland.

Memorials may be offered to the church or Crescent Fire and Rescue.
