In Memory: Verve L. Finken

Funeral for Verne L. Finken, 67, of Beebeetown was held Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at Hennessey Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley with the Rev. Bob Harris officiating.

Mr. Finken died January 29 at Alegent Health Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley.

He was born October 29, 1933, in Council Bluffs to Benhardt "Joe" and Mabel (O'Neill) Finken. He graduated from Beebeetown High School in 1951 and served in the U.S. Army in Central America. He farmed in the Beebeetown area for many years.

Survivors include two sisters, Helen Moffatt of Neola and Eileen McClannahan of Mondamin; and a brother, Lynn, of Beebeetown.

A wake service was held at the funeral home, followed by visitation with the family. Burial was in Mount Carmel Cemetery at Missouri Valley.
