In Memory: William C. Campbell

William C. Campbell, 84, of Harlan died January 16 in Omaha.

He was born in Walnut and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He owned and operated Brickyard Orchard in Harlan. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

He and his wife, Ethel, were married September 19, 1939.

Survivors in addition to his wife include a son, William Jr. and wife Mary Beth of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two sisters, Jessie Kendrick of Shelby and Beatrice Diggle of Avoca; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral service was to be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday at Pauley Funeral Home in Harlan. Burial will be in the Harlan Cemetery.
