In Memory: Blanche Moffatt

Blanche E. Moffatt, 89, of Council Bluffs died June 16 at the Bethany Lutheran Home. She was born on a farm near Underwood and graduated from Underwood High School in 1928.

She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband in the Neola/Underwood area before moving to Council Bluffs in 1989.

She was a member of the Underwood Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin A. Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Cutler Chapel with the Rev. Noel Knopp officiating.

Burial was in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery and visitation was held Monday evening at the Cutler Funeral Home.
