Lillian Dora Husz

Lillian Dora Husz, 92, of Treynor, died Friday at Bethany Lutheran Home in Council Bluffs.

She was born in McClelland Jun. 6, 1910, to Henry and Matilda (Knief) Schmidt. Mrs. Husz graduated from Treynor High School in 1929. She was a homemaker and a former cook at Treynor Community School and at Treynor Cafe and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Treynor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn W. Husz, on Nov. 12.

She is survived by a son, Keith H. Husz and wife, Julie, of Council Bluffs; three daughters, Carolyn Frain of Oakland, Norma Thomas and husband, Ronald, of Rio Rancho, N.M., and Joan Cox of Council Bluffs; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Chapel.

The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Treynor with the Rev. Arlvn C. Norris officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Treynor, followed by lunch at the church.

Memorials may be offered to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Treynor Community Center or Bethany Lutheran Home.
