Arvilla Turner

Arvilla M. Turner, 93, of Council Bluffs died Oct.20 at Risen Son Christian Village.

She was born in Avoca, graduated from Avoca High School and lived in Neola for many years moving to Council Bluffs 26 years ago. She was a homemaker and was a cook at the St. Alber High School cafeteria for six years. She was a member of St. Parick's Church in Neola and the Altar and rosary Society.

Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, John F., in 1971.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Larson, and husband, Lloyd, of Council Bluffs; a son, Francis J., and wife LaVonne, of Council Bluffs; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A wake service will be tonight at 7 at Beem-Belford Funeral Home, followed by visitation with the family until 8;30. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10:30 A. M. at St. Patrick's Church in Neola with the Rev. Dan Kirby, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to Risen Son Christian Village Alzheimer's Unit or St. Albert Schools.
