Maxine L. Powers
Maxine L. Powers, 73, a resident of the Lutheran Home in Omaha, died Thursday at an Omaha Hospital.
A native of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Powers was a lifetime resident of the Omaha-Council Bluffs area. She had been employed at both Lutheran Hospital and Richard Young Memorial Hospital before her retirement in 1983 and was a former member of the Grace United Presbyterian Church in Council Bluffs.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Patricia LePage of Brentwood, Calif.; two sons, Robert W. Powers of Omaha and Fred C. Powers Jr. of Concord, Calif.; two brothers, Richard Larsen of Sun City, Ariz., and Robert Larsen of Canutillo, Texas, and one granddaughter.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday in the Woodring Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lowell Knauss, pastor of the Grace Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from 4-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
