Cass Poland

Cass Poland, confectionery store operator here for 14 years died suddenly at his home Sunday at 1:30 am.
He had returned from work about 11 pm Saturday and was stricken with a heart attack a short time later. He was a native of Avoca and was graduated from the local high school.

Surviving is his widow, Edna; three sons, Donald and Ronald of Shenandoah, and Carol in the merchant marines; a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Christensen of Kimballton; two brothers, Ed of Loveland, Colorado, and Grant of Avoca.

Blust brothers are in charge.
