Barry Floyd

Barry Floyd, 49, of Council Bluffs died Jan. 30 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

He was born in Moneys, Miss. He was a car detailer for Rhoden Auto. He lived in Council Bluffs for the past 45 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Sharnell Jones, of Omaha; two sons, Kenneth Collins of Chicago and Talbroy Floyd of Council Bluffs; parents, Charles Sr. and Annie Floyd, of Council Bluffs; two sisters, Linda Harmon of Council Bluffs and Elaine Murdock of Texas; seven brothers, Dr. James Floyd of McDonough, Ga., E.J. Floyd, Curt Floyd, Maurice Floyd and Brian Floyd, all of Council Bluffs, Fred Floyd and Ronald Floyd, both of Omaha; life-long companion, Vivian Hollie, of Council Bluffs; grandson, Troy Houghton, of Omaha.

Visitation will be Sunday from noon to 6:30 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home. Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Raymond Hill officiating.
