Grace Wood Pritchard 1872-1949
Grace Wood Pritchard was born at Brownhelm, Ohio, February 29, 1872. When a small child she came with her family to make their home in Iowa. There she passed her childhood in the public schools, later entering upon her duties in the postal service over a long period, and then in the commercial world, performing each and every duty with efficiency and integrity.
Charles Daniel Pritchard and Miss Grace Wood were united in marriage at Avoca, Iowa, December 19, 1906. For a number of years they were engaged in the automobile business, later moving to York, Nebraska to make their home in 1915.
During the passing years Mrs. Pritchard was active in the work of the Women’s club as president, the Women’s Auxiliary of the YMCA as presiden, superintending the work of the Sunday School, active in the church guild and working as (article cut off)
