Mrs. Anna Harris 1884-

Anna Peterson, one of six daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Petersen was born in Avoca in 1884 and has made her home in Avoca and vicinity all her life.

She became the wife of A.L. Harris, also a native Avocan, March 18, 1904. Mr. Harris passed away April 10, 1934. Four children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Harris, Clarence, Paul, Curtis, and Harriet, who is the wife of Lawrence mark of Avoca.

Mrs. Harris had been a semi-invalid for the past couple of years, and her daughter and other members of her family had given her their personal care.

She is survived by her four children, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Petersen; four brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services were conducted at the family home south of Avoca Sunday afternoon with Rev. Davis B. Cecil of the Presbyterian church officiating. Burial was in the Avoca cemetery.
