Chris Wulf 1880-1948
Funeral services for Chris Wulf were held from the First Lutheran Church in Avoca on Thursday, January 9 (1948) with the Rev Joseph Gerit in charge of the services.

Mr. Wulf died at McClelland Sunday, January 5 (1948) at the age of 68 years, 6 months and 14 days. He was born the only son of Henry Wulf and his wife Julia Bauditz on June 21, 1880, in Scott County. He came with his folks to Avoca when about seven years old. He attended school southwest of Avoca and after the death of his father he farmed for several years.

He is survived by two sisters: Mrs. Anna Russmann of Avoca and Mrs. Fred Berge of Atlantic; a sister Mrs. George Lippold preceded him in death.
