Lonnie Lee Shively, age 59, of Council Bluffs, passed away on October 13, 2008, at his home.

Lonnie was born August 27, 1949, in Sutherland, Neb. He lived most of his life in the Council Bluffs area. He worked as a fabricator for many years with the Swanson Corporation facility in Omaha. Lonnie was a dedicated and loving husband and father and will be missed dearly by all of those who knew and loved him.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Lee Shively; and his mother and father, Marie and William Shively.

Survivors include wife Peggy; sons, Tony Shively and Timothy Shively and wife Angela, both of Council Bluffs; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Ellis and husband Jim, Connie Gregoire and husband Steve; brother, Rick Shively and wife Sarah; aunt and uncle, Vera and Bob Allen; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, October 24, at the Southside Christian Church, 1919 S. 10th St., Council Bluffs, Iowa.
