Louis Pinnow, 81, retired farmer, died at his home, 206 Grace street. Monday, after an illness of one year.

A native of Germany, Pinnow has been a resident of Council Bluffs for 26 years.

He is survived by his widow, Wilhelmina' five daughters, Mrs. Katie Schmielau and Mrs. Lillie Juul, both of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Dora Rogelin of Gretna, Neb., Mrs. Ella Petry of Mineola and Mrs. Helen Hodges of Silver City; one son, Fred of Omaha; 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Cutler's chapel with the Rev. A. G. Crisp officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn cemetery.
