Elizabeth "Ellie" Elouise Rautio, age 64, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2008, in Odessa, Texas.

She was born February 12, 1944, in Council Bluffs, to Redemus Marshall Reed and Elizabeth Ann Caston Reed. On April 10, 1973, she married Robert Rautio, they moved to Odessa 35 years ago from Council Bluffs.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mickey Reed; son-in-law, Scott Smith; and grandson, Robert Fisher.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Rautio, of Odessa; daughters, Sherrie Smith, Dana Fisher and husband Terry Oglesby, and Lovie Cook, all of Odessa; son, Robert Ryan Rautio, of Charlotte, Mich.; brothers, Clark Reed, Kerry Reed and Tracy Reed, all of Odessa; sisters, Phyllis Ramirez, Dixie Stallings, Darla Brock, all of Odessa, Pearl Basebelle, of Tacoma, Wash., and Lana Lynchard, of Rising Star, Texas; grandchildren, Crystal and Cary Henry, Cyndi and Steven McCarty, Kristi and James Tipton, Tyler Smith, Amanda Cook, Karina Rautio, Tabitha Rautio, Ryan Rautio, and Lucas Rautio; two great grandsons, Devon, and Jaxon, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m., Friday, October 17th, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Emmitt Barnard officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
