Eugene R. Mills, 23, world war II veteran, died at the home of his father Curtis Mills, 2129 Seventh avenue Monday morning after an illness of four years.
He was a Union Pacific railroad clerk, member of the American Legion, and the Fifth Avenue Methodist church.
Funeral service will be held at the Cutler chapel Wednesday at 3:30 p.m., with the Rev. F. G. Barnes officiating. The American Legion will hold military services at the grave in Memorial Park cemetery.
Survivors include the widow, Norma, 1813 Fifth avenue; one son, Raymond, at home; one daughter Donna Lee, at home; mother, Mrs. Ola Mills, and father Curtis Mills both of Council Bluffs; three sisters, Mrs. W. B. Raymond of Sparks, Nev.; Mrs. Jack Yochem of McClelland, and Betty Lou Mills, Council Bluffs; one brother, Charles Mills of North Platte, Neb.
