Paul J. Gusman

Paul Joseph Gusman, 78, of Council Bluffs at his home.

He was born on April 28, 1934, to Jessie and Anita (DeSantigo). He served in the U.S. Army and worked for Laidlaw Transit as a school bus driver for 12 years. He was a member of Construction Labor Local No. 1140.

Mr. Gusman and his wife, Cindy (Browning), were married for 28 years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include three daughters, Terry Lynn Rocha of Council Bluffs, Geneva Johnson of Pochatella Idaho, and Dotty Gusman, of Council Bluffs; four sons, Danny Hines of Council Bluffs, Jessie of Fort Madison, Steven of Omaha, Aaron Browning-Gusman, of Council Bluffs and Adam Browning-Gusman of Council Bluffs; a sister, Juanita Pizza of Council Bluffs; three brothers, Irnco and Pete of Council Bluffs and Tim of Des Moines; 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Rosary Service will be Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home with visitation with the family to follow. Funeral will be will be Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ken Gross officiating.

Burial will be in Garner Township Cemetery following the funeral.
