Brian C. Batten, age 32, of East Haven, Conn., formerly of Florida and Glenwood, Iowa, passed away in New Haven, Conn.

Brian was born in Hamburg, Iowa and graduated from Glenwood High School. He worked for Gherlone Construction. Brian enjoyed four-wheeling, fast cars with big motors, and motorcycles.

Survivors include his parents, Don and Betty Batten, of Glenwood, Iowa; brother, Travis Batten and Kadena Burgess, of Glenwood; grandfather, William Paulsen, of Glenwood; one niece, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life to be held Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. Private burial at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
