Donna K. Armstrong, 82 years, of Manson, Iowa and former longtime resident of Neola, passed away March 10, 2008.

She was born in rural Neola, December 18, 1925, to the late Clarence C. and Ruth M. (Hadfield) Armstrong. Donna was a 1944 graduate of Underwood High School, was of the Presbyterian faith and worked in the food service department at Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital for over 40 years.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Joann Armstrong and Eldene J. Hartman; and brother, Leland K. Armstrong.

Survivors include brothers, Neal Armstrong and wife Carol of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Kenneth Armstrong and wife Darlene of Manson, Iowa; sister, Sharon Armstrong of Glenwood, Iowa; nieces, Luann Slayton and husband Darrell of Manson, Margaret Waltz and husband Tim of Spirit Lake, Laura Waits of Burlison, Tenn., Diane Hartman Smith and husband Stevie of Fort Collins, Colo.; nephews, Christopher Armstrong and wife Ronnie of Glendale, Ariz., Allen Armstrong and wife Betty and Dennis Armstrong, all of Council Bluffs, David Hartman of Fort Collins, Colo.; sister-in-law, Lois Armstrong of Council Bluffs; and many great nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel with Rev. Dr. Eberhard Hering officiating. Burial will be at Grange Cemetery.
