In Memory: Edna E. Bullock

The funeral for Edna E. Bullock, 96, of Harlan was held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Shelby First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Bullock died August 2 at Elm Crest Retirement Community in Harlan.

She was born in Beebeetown. She graduated from Beebeetown High School. She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Shelby.

Mrs. Bullock was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, in 1985. They were married 57 years.

Survivors include daughters Ninette Durst and husband, Mel, of Woodland, California, Jeanette Messerschmidt and husband, Charles of Omaha and Sandra Bintz and husband, Harold, of Neola; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was held Tuesday evening at Pauley Knutson Funeral Home in Avoca. Burial was held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Neola Cemetery in Neola.
