In Memory: Anna Schafer

Anna May Schafer, 75, of Persia died July 28, 2003 at Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley.

She was born in Logan on March 31, 1928 to Robert and Bessie (Hillers) Miller. She married Frank Schafer on October 11, 1959. She also worked for many years in the housekeeping department at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs.

Survivors include her brothers, Virgil of Persia, Wayne and his wife LaVonne of Persia and Oren of South Dakota; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family was held last Wednesday evening at Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan. The funeral was Thursday, July 31, at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Persia. Burial was in the Neola Cemetery in Neola.
